I started at Spanish Tutor DC after a well-known language learning center was not offering more group classes, and the cost of their private sessions was too high for me. I’ve now been there for almost 2 years. Classes are typically between 3-6, but the instructors facilitate dialogue between all students, not letting a single person dominate the conversation. The schedule is flexible; classes are easily rescheduled. The instructors continue to be fantastic, pushing you to learn, but in an enjoyable way. It’s a perfect mix of real life conversation practice, exercises, reading news articles, etc. I don’t like to sound like a 4 year old with a terrible accent (well, maybe a 8 year old now), but at least I’m having fun doing it. Most importantly, my Spanish has improved tremendously.
